Military Students at Grand Canyon University
At Grand Canyon University, we value our military members, Veterans and their families as a vital part of our community. To support your educational journey, we’ve developed specialized military programs designed to meet your unique needs and help you maximize your college experience. In addition to partnerships like Air University and comprehensive military benefits for active-duty service members, veterans and spouses, GCU provides on- and off-campus resources through the Veterans Center. These resources are dedicated to connecting you with fellow students, fostering involvement and ensuring you have the support you need every step of the way.

ROTC in College at GCU
GCU offers both Army and Air Force ROTC programs, providing you with leadership training, tuition assistance and a direct path to becoming commissioned officers — all while earning your degree. As a cadet, you’ll also build lasting connections with fellow students through shared training experiences and extracurricular activities, creating a strong support network for both military and civilian careers.
Veterans Center
The GCU Veterans Center was established in 2013 to ease the transition from military service to the classroom. Resident, commuter and online military students receive personalized assistance, with opportunities to network and study with peers. Our veteran resource coordinator can assist with questions regarding veteran services on campus. Our school certifying officials or your student services counselor can answer questions regarding military and veteran education benefits. School certifying officials can be reached at [email protected].

Military Benefits
GCU's military university counselors are committed to making sure all military benefits are properly processed. GCU follows military policies and processes for the Tuition Assistance (TA) program and other military benefits. We allow military members to transfer up to 30 credits from military training, which will be determined from a military service transcript evaluation. This is one less thing our students, using these well-earned benefits to pursue their degree, have to worry about. Contact your military university counselor to start the process or if you have any questions.
